Our History
With a passion for finance, our founder began their career over 30 years ago at Peat Marwick (now KPMG). After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and gaining valuable experience, a chance meeting with a property investor led to a lasting career in property accounting—forming the foundation of our specialised expertise today.
Extensive hands-on experience followed across all aspects of the sector—from service charge accounting and commercial leases to VAT complexities and development projects. Working closely with architects, developers, and surveyors, the focus remained on delivering clear financial insight to support confident decisions, successful outcomes, and full compliance.
Alongside professional work, a personal property portfolio was built over 25+ years—starting with student rentals and expanding to professional lets and holiday cottages. Firsthand experience offered valuable insight into the evolving challenges and regulations landlords face.
Everything came full circle with the sale of personal rental properties, underscoring the importance of exit strategies. With decades of experience and a wide network, the natural next step was founding a specialised accounting firm to support property owners.
